Just Thinking about scouting?

Cub Scouts is a program that introduces young people to others their age and begin building social and practical skill. They receive awards for accomplishments they personally earned.

Boy Scouts is a program builds on this base and teaches skills they will carry for the rest of their lives. Leadership, responsibility, planning and execution of goal are emphasized as part of each objective.

Can you be a Boy Scout without having been a Cub Scout? Yes.
